Resource efficient? - Can your business afford not to be?

With overheads rising all the time every business needs to find ways to save money and give themselves and edge in these tough economic times.  This event aims to give businesses practical solutions to their problems and each delegate should leave with several low cost or no cost ways to make their business leaner and greener.

"Green is the new black" as they say and good environmental credentials are a great marketing tool that could help you win new business.

There will be representatives from a range of organisations and agencies to provide you with information, advice and support especially on reducing waste and CO2 emissions.

Keynote speaker: Dr Simon Forsyth DipEM

Simon stumbled into environmental management in 1989 by offering to look after a paper-recycling bin. After that, things ran out of control. He set up the Green Teams at Hewlett Packard in Bristol, became a full-time environmental specialist and ISO14001 auditor, ran a small consultancy, helped deliver the Southwest-wide Envision programme, established a number of Resource Efficiency Clubs, and now focuses on the linkages between carbon management, Environmental Management Systems, and cost-carbon saving through resource efficiency.
